Most of you already know, but this is where I'll be for the next few days. Jared and I are in the Smoky Mountains enjoying our first true vacation in over a year. Much needed, and almost didn't happen with all the craziness last week (most of you know from Twitter and Facebook, but first I had an upper and lower respiratory infection, then Alabama was hit with a series of horrible tornadoes on Wednesday, then I got sicker, had to go to the ER Thursday morning, found out it had turned into pneumonia, and was hospitalized for a day. Yeah. Craziness.)!
Oh but it doesn't end there. We finally get to the cabin yesterday and it's about an hour away from where they said it was, the internet didn't work, and there was no running water. Cue massive nervous breakdown. It's all fixed now, but my nerves are already shot. I'll be around on Twitter and Facebook, so check in periodically. I have a feeling I'll be sending some SOS signals.

I hope you are able to relax and enjoy it. While a cabin is no all-inclusive on the beach, some of my favorite vacays (with friends & with D) have been at cabins. It looks gorgeous!

omg what a rough past few days!! i'm glad you're feeling better and can enjoy your vacay now. i rented a vacation house once and it had a jacuzzi and there was no water in it when we got there! but luckily the little quibbles didn't stop us from having a wonderful time! enjoy it, that house looks absolutely gorgeous!

wow sounds like a rough start..but I hope you have a wonderful time. We are so in need of a vacation I cannot even tell you. Trying to plan a vacation for Mem Day weekend. Ok have fun!!!
Seriously- despite all of the craziness, this cabin (and that view!) is beautiful. I'm glad that you are getting to take time OFF, and hopefully will come back refreshed... and ready to resume your shredding :).
