What's In My House Abby's Apartment...

Remember when I did posts showing you What's In My House...? (And again at Christmas?) No? Well go look. But first, here's a look at how I spent my time in Nashville. Kinda. Except not just me, of course.
I'm still exhausted, here are the pictures:
Center pillows, vase and filler, and wall hanging are new and from Pier 1. New curtains from Target. We have that same red vase and I swore to Abby that it's so simple to decorate. Just buy a little filler, fan it out, all done.
It fell ALL the way in the vase. The Engineer decided we should buy a bag of sand to take up space in the vase, then the filler wouldn't fall. Well, that's true - it does.
It takes 40 pounds of sand.
Nothing about last weekend was simple.
(Abby can never move that vase.)
New curtains from Target. This is the office/dining room. You're probably thinking the obvious - how is this a dining room? Your sister doesn't have a table to eat at.
She used to have a table. That would be one of the items the movers lost.
I can't think of anything new here, but there's pictures of everything. Enjoy.
Bedding is new but I'm not sure where she got it, bookshelves are from Target, curtains are new but my Mom bought those and I'm not sure where, wall hooks/necklace holder is from Pier 1.
There was a lot of work in here. The movers lost her old bookshelves, so we had to buy those. The movers scratched up the nightstand (it used to be blue/green) so we had to repaint it. The chest of drawers got completely re-organized (no pictures, you'll just have to take my word for it) and the closet was completely organized. But that necessitates it's own post. Trust me.

You might be looking at the pictures and thinking yeah, it's an apartment, with furniture.
You don't understand.
Until Friday at 1:00 this apartment had 2 folding chairs and an air mattress. That's it. All of this was brought in, bought, assembled, hung, and organized in roughly 48 hours. Everything that the movers broke or lost (and that's a somewhat lengthy list) has been fixed or replaced except for a dining room table.
So, like I said. I'm exhausted. I think I need another nap. Yes, plenty of people were involved with this. I'm still going to complain about exhaustion.
(It looks really good though, right? Right.)

All that in 48 hours? No wonder you are tired! It took me 2 weeks just to set up my bedroom and bathroom when I moved! You deserve another nap :)

The movers lost her dining room table?!! Seriously... how does that happen?!

It does look really good! I'm sorry you guys had such a hellish time with it all...I'd love to know how a moving company loses a table.

Despite the missing table (stupid movers!) the dining room looks so pretty! I love the green curtains, and the wall art on either side of the window. I've got to get some green in my house!

It's nothing short of a miracle since the movers lost so many things. I'm glad she was still able to make it look so good.
