Most of you know I'm supposed to be at the beach right now. A lot of you probably know by now that didn't happen. Thursday I had some tests and an appointment with a neuro-opthamologist about my neuritis. (Yep, I sound 50 years old when I start talking about my medical stuff.) He doesn't think he can do anything for the neuritis at this point and, oh yeah, my retina is detached. So instead of lounging on the beach, I'm having surgery to re-attach it today. I'm trying to take Barney Stinson's advice about the whole thing.
It's not working. But enough about that.
I had some posts scheduled for the week assuming I was going to be out of town, so those will go up as planned. Surgery is at 7:30 am and I'm pretty sure I can get Jared to understand how to send out a Tweet to let everyone know I'm ok (although he's threatened to skip the updates and just "quote" the weird things I'll say due to the medication. Um, should be entertaining.) I'm guessing Twitter and Facebook are the best places to leave messages, and I'll hopefully get to them soon.
(I'm trying, I'm trying. Well, the keep calm part at least.)
