Philosophy Hope In A Jar

Skincare is something I'm very careful about switching up. I always want to use the best products that will get the best results for me, but I'm scared to try something new because with sensitive skin you never know what's going to happen. I've been wanting to switch up my moisturizer lately though, and Philosophy Hope In A Jar is what I've been trying. It seems to be good for sensitive skin and has been moisturizing enough during the winter which can be a challenge when you have mostly dry skin. I definitely love it as a daytime moisturizer but I'm not sure if I can't find a thicker, even more hydrating moisturizer for night. That's what I think I want to do - have both, even though it'd be simpler to just have one. Opinions?

Do you use a different daytime and nighttime moisturizer? What are you using?

I'm way too lazy to apply a nighttime moisturizer. I use perricone cold plasma and maybe some body shop vitamin c skin boost.

I've been using 100% pure face oil at night. The thought of oil made me crazy...but I've ended up loving it. Really.

I use a different day and night cream. For day I actually just use neutrogena spf 70 under my makeup and then for night I use an Avon creme but I'm think of switching my night cream to just a basic vitamin E cream from my local organic store...

I'm faithful to my Mary Kay day and night solution. :) I've heard great things about Hope in a Jar though.

I use the same fairly light Neutrogena moisturizer for both day and night -- can't get enough of the stuff.

Hope in a Jar is good but not the best for a nighttime moisturizer for dry skin. I love Dr. Robert Rey's Sensual Solutions Stem Cell Night Cream b1ut I don't know if you can get it here anymore.

Other faves La Mer for really dry skin but I know it's pricey. Olay Regenerist Night is good. And Patricia Wexler Night works.

Also RoC has a really good retinol night cream to fight wrinkles but it's not really hydrating so I'd skip that one.

I usually use a Decleor oil, but will occasionally use a lighter moisturizer if my skin feels like it's in good shape. I can't recommend their oils more highly!

This is a great product. I was using Philosophy for a long time and definitely saw results. I'm picky too. But I've been using a lot of Kheils too and it's also amazing for my skin, which is now luminescent without being overly oily.

I definitely need a thicker night cream! I think I'm going to get Bobbi Brown's!

I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin at night and then Garnier's new BB cream in the morning. My skin is just really too oily for most moisturizers in the morning before I apply make up. I'd love to try this philosophy one though!

For my face, my products change. I use a lot of neutrogena and avon products. I also use the ionic clay mask.
