This week we'll be in Savannah, GA, Charleston, SC, and Atlanta, GA. I don't remember having a road trip type vacation involving several cities and states since I was about 14, so I'm pretty excited. Have you ever been to any of these places? What do you recommend?

Yay, fun! I've never been to Charleston but I have heard wonderful things about it! Savannah is absolutely gorgeous, and will give you a good feel for "Old South". Definitely spend some time walking on River St and popping in and out of the shops down there. Eat some seafood. Take a tour - they have all different kinds depending on what you enjoy (there's a ghost tour bar crawl, a historic town tour, etc). It's a great walking city, and there are amazing squares and great little boutiques. If you get the chance, and are into the beach, Tybee Island is about a half hour away. I live in Atlanta, and I have to admit, I don't think there's a ton to do here as a tourist. One thing I definitely recommend is the Aquarium. Unless you're in love with Coke, the World of Coke isn't that exciting. If you let me know what kinds of things you're looking for or what you like to do, I can maybe give some better recommendations for the A! :)
