Travel Tips

we♥it

We're getting ready to head out on a vacation next week, and I've been counting the days. I've done a couple of posts before on a few of my own traveling tips, but I wanted to try something different today. What are your best travel tips? Road trips, airports, packing - all of it!

Shoes, bags, makeup, and jeans in the carry-on. I'm all about bringing as much stuff as possible. How terribly efficient.

Hmmm...tips XD
Pick out all your outfits beforehand and put in a couple extras "just in case" XD

Don't overpack! You don't need as much as you think you do. It's just extra bulk to lug around. And at security, if you think you need to take something off or out of your bag...just go ahead and do it, dont wait and ask! I have security related anger at most travlers. Most my other tips involve kids ;)

My big one is just to not over pack...and I am so terrible at taking my own advice on that!

Always put an extra pair of panties and a tee or tank in your purse/carry on–or two. No one ever purposely loses their luggage, but it happens.

The airport shouldn't the last resting place of your favorite jewelery. My mama always said, only take the jewelry you're ready to leave behind.

Call your credit card company and let them know you're flying the coop.

The moisture in airplanes is actually vacuumed out, to keep it lighter, just like alcohol and your insides. Stay hydrated!

Travel tips: Pack your bag then take out 10 things.

Plan some things, but then leave room to fly by the seat of your pants. Spontaneity is everything!

I wanna go with you!!

Leave your personal bag (purse, tote, whatever) half empty on the way there. You'll need the extra room for souvenirs!
